Hi! I’m Seda, a Notion creator with a bit of an unexpected journey. I started out as a chemical engineer but eventually followed my passion for plants and opened my own plant shop, Yoma Plant.

Running Yoma Plant wasn’t just a business. It was where my love for plants met all the ups and downs of doing things on my own. I handled everything on the digital side, from brand identity to marketing and content. That’s when I realized how much I enjoy creating systems that make everyday chaos easier to handle.

During that time, I also hosted workshops and worked on creative projects like aromatherapy, candle making, and ceramics. All those experiences now shape the Notion templates I create for herbalists, plant lovers, and small business owners like you.

My goal is to make your day-to-day feel a little more clear and manageable with tools that fit how you work. I hope they’re just as helpful for you as they were for me.

How to use this guide?

COLOR PALETTE

Your color palette is inspired by the natural tones of the earth, perfect for a plant shop. The warm browns and soft greens evoke a sense of calm, connection to nature, and growth. These colors create an inviting, grounded atmosphere that will resonate with plant lovers.

Browns represent the richness of the soil and give your brand a sense of warmth and stability.
Greens capture the vitality of plants, symbolizing freshness and life.
Neutral tones like khaki balance the palette, providing a calming backdrop for your branding.

Use these colors consistently across your branding, from your shop signage to packaging, ensuring a cohesive and natural feel. I've curated this palette, but you can adjust or add to it as needed to make it uniquely yours!

TYPOGRAPHY

For a plant shop, fonts should feel warm and inviting, reflecting the calm and natural atmosphere of your space. A handwritten or organic font gives a personal, nurturing touch, while a clean, simple font feels fresh and airy—just like the plants you sell. The right choice helps customers instantly connect with your brand’s vibe of growth and care.

Choose one or two fonts—one for your headings (like your shop name) and one for your regular text (like product descriptions or social media captions). Headings can be more decorative, while body text should always be easy to read. Make sure the fonts reflect your shop’s personality.

I’ve selected a few fonts for you in the gallery. Feel free to use them directly or add your own favorite fonts to the collection. The choice is yours!

LOGO

Your logo is the face of your plant shop, giving customers a visual connection to your brand. I’ve provided example logos in the gallery to guide you. There are two different primary logo and a secondary logo with their variations. It’s not for actual use, but you can use it as inspiration to design your own logo with similar variations. Feel free to create and add your own logos to the gallery, following the same principles!

Primary Logo: This is your full logo, which includes your brand’s name, slogan, and an icon. It’s designed in black and white but also has variations in your brand’s color palette for flexibility. Use the primary logo for prominent placements like your website, storefront signage, or packaging.
Secondary Logo: This simplified version features only your brand’s name, without the icon and slogan. Like the primary logo, it’s available in black and white, as well as in your brand’s colors. It works well in smaller spaces or when you want a minimalist look, such as on business cards or watermarks. </aside>
